The Future of People with Disability in the World

Published 2005 – Since its foundation, major areas of concern for The Club of Rome are the dignity of people and their quality of life. Everyone should have the opportunity to participate in human development.

The Future of People with Disability in the World gives an overview of the situation that the disabled face, with a special emphasis on less developed regions. It is a call for cooperation, with specific proposals to overthrow the double standards that exclude many people with disabilities from taking an active role. It stresses that it is only with the full integration of people with disabilities that we can defend and promote human diversity.

The report seeks to instil new values and new ways for people to work with each other.
