Dr Morne Mostert is Director of the Institute for Futures Research at Stellenbosch University, where he established a research unit on African Futures. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Bureau of Economic Research and is a former member of the ILO international panel of experts on the Future of Work. He advises globally on the development of higher-order thinking and decision-making for senior leaders in business, with specialisations in Futures Thinking, Systems Thinking and Strategic Thinking. His award-winning thought leadership has been published widely and he is a regular contributor to the business media on longer-term policy and strategy. Dr Mostert is the author of Systemic Leadership Learning – Leadership Development in the Era of Complexity, in which he proposes an innovative methodology for the development of future leaders in a world characterized by near-chaotic change.
