Sara Roversi is an international leader in sustainable food systems and regenerative development. She founded the Future Food Institute (FFI), which champions an integrated approach to food systems, treating them as strategic levers for human health, environmental protection and inclusive socio-economic development, in line with the UN 2030 Agenda.
In 2020, she founded the Paideia Campus in Pollica, Italy, a Mediterranean living lab rooted in integral human development. It also serves as a prototype for sustainable villages, bringing together environmental protection, human health and social justice.
Roversi is active in food diplomacy as well. She served as Commissioner for Global Food Security with the Kofi Annan Foundation, is Executive Director of the Master in Food Innovation and Regeneration programme at Bologna Business School, and curates Venice Climate Week, where she helps leaders build climate-resilient, community-based food systems around the world.
