Abdulkadir Osman Farah currently teaches at Copenhagen University and is an associate of Democracy, Migration and Society (DEMOS) at Aalborg University, Denmark. He is involved in the project ‘Urban Sanctuary, Migrant Solidarity and Hospitality in Global Perspective’ with Aalborg and Ryerson Universities. Abdulkadir also serves as a Research and Innovation Associate at Tswane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa.
Farah coordinates the Analysis Centre for Transnational Encounters and Connections in Denmark and the North-Eastern African-Nordic Network (NEANOR). Additionally, he is an associate editor of the Somali Studies Journal and sits on the editorial review boards of several journals focusing on political development and political sociology.
