The Club of Rome and RSE (Research on the Energy System) are organising a conference titled “The Energy Transition Between Challenges and Opportunities”, which will take place on Monday, 11 November 2024, at the GSE Auditorium in Rome.
This event, following the positive experience of the “Energy for All” conference held in November 2023, will be a crucial moment to create a discussion between energy sector experts, institutional representatives, and key industry figures, with the aim of discussing the challenges and opportunities related to the energy transition in Italy and globally. Fifty years after the renowned Club of Rome report “The Limits to Growth”, the conference aims to analyse how the recommendations of the recent “Earth4All” report have been integrated into national and European policies, particularly regarding the transformation of the energy sector to achieve the goals of the Agenda 2050.
