DESCRIPTION:No Limits to Hope: Sense-making for alternative futures\n\nThis
  conference\, organised by Club of Rome and the Romanian Association of th
 e Club of Rome\, will explore how humanity can bridge the gap between know
 ledge and action\, reimagine education and learning\, and build cultural a
 nd material conditions for a just and regenerative future. \n\nThe three-
 day gathering\, hosted by the National Bank of Romania will bring together
  thinkers from across the world to celebrate the launch of Constellations
  of Hope and the upcoming centenary of Mircea Maliţa (co-author of No L
 imits to Learning). \n\nThe conference will offer space for dialogue and 
 debate both in person in Bucharest and online. \n\nProgramme highlights 
 \n\nThe programme features panels and keynote addresses on topics includi
 ng transformative learning\, AI and innovation\, finance\, materials and r
 esources\, peace\, and a special session for exploring collaborations b
 etween national associations and chapters.  \n\n 	Reimagining learning f
 or regeneration will explore what education looks like when built for 
 regeneration\, drawing on Constellations of Hope\, a global collection o
 f case studies from classrooms\, communities and institutions already wor
 king at the frontiers of transformative learning. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem\,
  the former French Minister of Education and a member of the Club of Rom
 e\, will be joined by other educators and researchers from across the wor
 ld. \n\n\n 	In Money\, power and the planet: Finance for regeneration\, 
 central bankers and economists — including Daniel Dăianu (Advisor to th
 e Governor of the National Bank of Romania and Chairman of the Romanian Fi
 scal Council\, and former Finance Minister of Romania\, Former Chief Econo
 mist of the National Bank of Romania\, and former MEP) and Josef Meichenit
 sch (Executive Director Oesterreichische Nationalbank) will discuss how f
 inance\, monetary policy and central banking need to evolve to fund the ec
 onomy of tomorrow. \n\n\n 	Ugo Bardi will present his new report to the C
 lub of Rome\, The End of Population Growth\, which challenges decades of
  assumptions about population growth and predicts a stabilisation and decl
 ine well before the end of the century — with social\, economic and poli
 tical consequences far larger than any government are prepared for. \n\n\
 n 	Panellists will discuss Transformative pathways towards collective in
 telligence: AI in service of people\, planet and peace: how we can stee
 r AI to strengthen communities and institutions\, rather than extracting 
 from them. \n\n\n 	A keynote address from Kate Pickett\, From social t
 ension to alternative futures: Reimagining the wellbeing economy will dra
 w on new evidence of how far public trust has frayed across the world's la
 rgest economies and asks what it would mean to place the wellbeing of pe
 ople and planet — rather than output alone — at the centre of economic
  life. \n\n\n 	Planetary Peace: Wellbeing for all on a healthy planet\, 
 will look at security and peace reframed around planetary wellbeing — 
 a regenerative\, systemic approach centred on the wellbeing of people\, th
 e planet\, and future generations rather than the mere absence of war. \
 n\n\n 	Other sessions will explore paradigm shifts in education\, institu
 tional transformation\, indigenous epistemologies\; the future of global 
 population\; energy\, materials and geopolitics\, and much more.  \n\n
 The conference will convene experts and practitioners thinking and actin
 g seriously on systems transformation — across education\, finance\,
