Latin America is experiencing a period marked by multiple interconnected crises – environmental, economic, social, cultural and political – that reflect an unprecedented global polycrisis. However, the region also possesses extraordinary potential: it is one of the most biodiverse territories on the planet, with vast ancestral cultures, strategic water reserves, significant food production capacity and unique opportunities in the energy sector.
In this context, the Club of Rome is promoting the creation of a Latin American network, with the aim of fostering critical thinking, scientific research, regenerative innovation and transformative action in the region. The International Conference taking place in Buenos Aires on 23-24 April 2026, co-hosted by the Argentine Chapter of the Club of Rome, is the starting point of this process.
The event will feature high-level plenaries, academic presentations, and spaces to explore the nexus of though and action. It will also see the launch of Earth4All: Argentina, the latest Earth4All national report exploring pathways towards wellbeing and prosperity for all in the Argentinian context based on scientific modelling and expert analysis.
