Governance
The Club of Rome is governed by its General Assembly of Members, which validates major strategic decisions, and by the Board, a 12-member body elected from the membership responsible for ongoing oversight and guidance. The president/co-presidents jointly represent and lead the organisation, working closely with the Secretary General and the Board to ensure coherent and effective governance.
Paul is a visionary leader in management and sustainability.
Formerly he was Chief Sustainability Officer at The Pennsylvania State University and is currently Professor of Management and Organisations. He was the Executive Director of Future Earth, where he established its secretariat for global environmental change programs.
Silvia is a writer, philosopher and lecturer.
Selected as an outstanding woman of national history by the Dictionary of Argentinean Women, she leads cultural dialogues and directs international initiatives on beauty, peace and sustainability.
The Secretary General oversees the Secretariat, which takes care of the day to day running of the Club of Rome's activities.
