Benedikter, Roland

Prof. Roland Benedikter is a political scientist and sociologist specialized in multidisciplinary political analysis. He is Research Professor at the Willy Brandt Center of the University of Wroclaw-Breslau (Poland), Senior Research Scholar of the Council on Hemispheric Affairs Washington D.C., Senior Affiliate of the Edmund Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics of Georgetown University and Trustee of the Toynbee Prize Foundation Boston.

Roland holds three PhD’s and is best know for having developed a 6-dimensional approach to understanding globalization and for having advised governments in Europe and the U.S on multidimensional strategy and future foresight.

Roland has won several international awards for his scientific contributions, such as the Klaus Reichert Award for Medical Philosophy. He is the author of over 300 articles and 20 books on international affairs, strategy and future foresight, including China, Chile, European-American relations and future technology, and of 2 White Papers for the Pentagon.
