Prof. Roberto Peccei is a physicist and a particle theorist. He is Vice-President of the Club of Rome, Professor (Emer) of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Former Vice Chancellor for Research at UCLA.
Roberto has won several awards for his work in particle particle physics and physical cosmology, such as the J. J. Sakurai Prize in 2013. He served on numerous advisory boards both in Europe and the United States. He currently serves as the President of the Fondazione Aurelio Peccei and the Chair of the External Advisory Board of the Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe in Japan. He is also a Fellow of the American Physical Society, the Institute of Physics in the United Kingdom, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the World Academy of Arts and Sciences.
