Liedtke, Patrick M.
Prof. Patrick M. Liedtke is Head of BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa and a member of the global Leadership Committee of BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business. Specialized in insurance, finance and economics, he is the founder of the Chief Investment Officers Network, the Financial Directors Network, the Amsterdam Circle of Chief Economists, and co-founder of the Chief Risk Officers Network in insurance, the World Risk and Insurance Economics Congress, and the Silver Workers Institute.
Patrick is also a Surveillance Board Member of Zwiesel Kristallglas AG; a member of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences; and was twice elected to the Executive Committee of the Club of Rome.
Patrick began his career in capital markets analysis and economic research in England, Germany and Switzerland. He joined The Geneva Association in 1998 and was appointed Secretary General and Managing Director in 2000, a position he held until he joined BlackRock in 2012.
