David Lehrer runs Conatix, a technology startup applying recent advances in cognitive computing and artificial intelligence to knowledge management for some of the largest organizations in the world.
David is interested in how insights and evidence from the many specialized fields of 21st century expert knowledge can be aggregated effectively to illuminate and perhaps ameliorate complex and interdependent global policy problems.
His research and advocacy to improve scientific reporting has been covered in academic and general media ranging from Science and social research methods journals to Foreign Policy and Australian public radio.
Educated in public and private management at Harvard and in the social sciences throughout Europe, he has served as visiting fellow and research associate in criminology and international development in Oxford, visiting economist at the Bank of Finland, and guest researcher in political economy at WZB Berlin. David is also a member of the US Association for the Club of Rome.
