Krieger, David



David Krieger is a leader in the fight for a world free of nuclear weapons. He was a founder of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation in 1982, and has served as president of the Foundation since that time. He is currently a consultant to the Marshall Islands in their Nuclear Zero lawsuits against the nine nuclear-armed countries, which seek for these countries to fulfill their legal and moral obligations to negotiate in good faith to achieve complete nuclear disarmament. He serves on the advisory councils of many peace organizations throughout the world and has received many honors for his work.

Among his books are ZERO: The Case for Nuclear Weapons Abolition; The Path to Zero, Dialogues on Nuclear Dangers; and The Challenge of Abolishing Nuclear Weapons. He is the author of four books of peace poetry, including Wake Up! David tweets @DkriegerNAPF
