This section of the website will present a series of Current Issues – such as the example of the impacts of food prices – which are practical examples to illustrate the complex, systemic issues which confront the world community today.
Current Issues will arise in many other fields, such as climate change, peak oil, the eco systems crisis, globalisation, sustainable development, peace and security etc. A basic explanation will be provided of each current issue. Further information will be available through links to articles and other source materials.
The Current Issues will be grouped in a Current Issue Bank, according to major themes: climate change, biodiversity, oceans, forests, international finance, poverty, health and education etc.
