Professor Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, a distinguished Member of the Club of Rome and the Dean of the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management (USA), received a prestigious German Environmental Award (Deutscher Umweltpreis) presented by German President Horst Kohler in Rostok.
Professor von Weizsäcker was honoured for his outstanding work in promoting sustainable development worldwide.
