^[1]After the first very successful Blue Economy Summer School ^[1] this year’s emphasis will be put on Blue Economy methodology and regional development in the industrialized world.

The summer school will be held between the 8th and 20th July 2013 in Pécs, Hungary. Gunter Pauli as the key speaker of the summer school opens the program and guides the first three days. Gunter Pauli, being a Member of the Club of Rome, has analysed and learned from the faults of the former and current models and set up some revolutionary ideas, which he published in 2009 as a Report to the Club of Rome.

Internationally recognized academic faculty ensures the interdisciplinary approach. Speakers coming from Germany, Belgium and Hungary will guide the participants in discovering the different aspects of Blue Economy methodology and regional development At the end of the program the Blue Economy Fair and Exhibition will be organized that will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to get acquainted with technology owners and users.
