It is with great sadness that we have to announce that

Hugo Thiemann †

passed away  on 10th June 2012 in Geneva (Switzerland) at the age of 95.

Hugo Thiemann was a Founding and Honorary Member of the Club of Rome. With his tireless efforts to create a better world, until his last moments, he used all his skills and influence to help us shape and continue our work.

The Club of Rome has many reasons to be thankful to Hugo Thiemann. Our thoughts are with his family. We will not forget him.
